DIRECTORS
Mrs. Denney has been the director at Randall High School since 2013. She also teaches beginning band classes at Greenways Intermediate and assists with the bands at Westover Park Junior High.
Along with teaching band, she is a member of the Amarillo Symphony, Amarillo Junior League and the Town and Gown Band. Mrs. Denney is currently the President of Region 1 Music and also holds executive board positions with Town & Gown, the Hope and Healing Place and Junior League of Amarillo.
She is also a member of Kappa Kappa Psi, the Texas Music Educators Association, and the Texas Band Masters Association.
I am an Odessa native, but I have spent the last seven years in the Amarillo area, completing my bachelor's and master's degrees at West Texas A&M University and finishing my first year of teaching at Panhandle High School. During my time in college, I was fortunate enough to student-teach here at Randall back in the spring of 2022. I’m super excited to be back here at Randall High School and can’t wait to see what all we can accomplish together!
